About Dr. Froman

Dr. Froman graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon with a doctorate in naturopathic medicine and a master’s in nutrition. She grew up in a family of seven who enjoyed cooking, and began cooking at an early age herself. She had been through many phases with her diet and lifestyle and has learned through her nutrition classes the importance of balance.

She believes in a simple treatment approach. Naturopathic doctors are trained to look at the whole body, that health is often a puzzle where you take all the pieces together to note patterns and rhythms in the body as well as where there are imbalances and lack of proper movement.

Dr. Froman’s approach is to first address the issues that the patient is experiencing that first brings them to the office. If needed for clarification, lab work and specific tests will be done and the treatment plan will be changed if the results indicate that something else needs to be done. The treatment plan is a journey in which patient and doctor embark on as a team for better quality of life, sleep and everyday function.

In addition to her practice, Dr. Froman works part time at the Peter Alfond Prevention & Healthy Living Center, where she works at the Culinary Coordinator for the Healthy Cooking and Eating Program.
